Who we are
Tenue is operated by AZ Robotics, 30 N Gould St, STE R, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, USA. Using Tenue means you agree to these terms. If you do not, please do not use it.
What Tenue is
Tenue is a personal styling assistant. You build a digital closet from photos of clothes you own, and Tenue suggests outfits from them. It is a tool for getting dressed — nothing more, and it does not claim to be right about taste.
Your account
You need an account to use Tenue. Keep your login details to yourself, give us accurate information, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You must be at least 16. One person, one account — do not share it.
Your content stays yours
The photos you upload and the wardrobe you build are yours. You give us permission to store and process them for one purpose: running Tenue for you — analysing your photos into garments, generating your recommendations, and showing your closet back to you. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account. We do not sell your content, use it to advertise to other people, or show it to other users unless you deliberately post it.
You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload. Do not upload photos of other people without their agreement, and do not upload anything unlawful.
What we ask of you
Do not misuse Tenue: no scraping, no reverse engineering, no automated bulk access, no attempts to break or overload the service, no uploading malware, and nothing illegal, hateful or sexually explicit. Do not use Tenue to impersonate anyone or to build a competing dataset.
Connected services
You can connect Instagram to import your own photos. That connection is optional, read-only, and governed by Instagram's terms as well as ours — we only ever access what you authorise, and you can disconnect at any time. We are not responsible for a third-party service changing or ending its access. See our privacy policy for exactly what we read.
About the suggestions
Tenue's recommendations are generated by software, including AI models, and they are opinions — not professional advice, and not guaranteed to be accurate, flattering or appropriate for any occasion. Judgement about what you wear is always yours. Where Tenue links to something you can buy, we may earn a commission; that never changes what we show you.
Availability
We work to keep Tenue running but we cannot promise it will always be available, fast, or free of bugs. We may change, pause or discontinue features. If we discontinue Tenue altogether, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to get your data out.
Ending it
You can stop using Tenue and delete your account at any time — see Data & deletion. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people or the service at risk, and we will tell you why unless we are legally prevented from doing so.
The legal part
Tenue is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data or profits. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited — including for fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Where our liability is limited, it is capped at the greater of the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months or fifty US dollars.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, when a change matters, tell you in the app. Continuing to use Tenue after that means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, and disputes belong to the courts located there. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not remove protections you have under the mandatory law of your own country.
